With the unwavering support of his family, he opened his first restaurant, Little Chef’s, where he honed his skills and built a loyal following. Now, with Sofia’s Kitchen, Pedro and the Castillo family are proud to bring an even bigger and better dining experience to the Angola community.

At Sofia’s Kitchen, every meal brings together family, tradition, and the joy of sharing good food. Located at 1450 N. Wayne Street in Angola, Indiana, our family restaurant proudly serves the Angola, Fremont, Hamilton, and surrounding communities with delicious breakfast favorites, satisfying lunch options, and authentic Mexican-inspired cuisine.

Our story began with a dream. Pedro Castillo started cooking in 2007, at the age of 18, with a vision of owning a restaurant long before he had even learned to cook. That dream motivated him to develop his skills and pursue a future in the restaurant industry. With the encouragement and support of his family, Pedro opened his first restaurant, Little Chef’s, where he gained experience and built the foundation for what would come next.
